Math groups

The other day, we were in groups and they helped me a lot with learning everything. Although the videos did help the most. They were all good but some very hard to solve. The dice one was difficult but was very challenging. My favourite one was the first one because it was easy and i got it way better then the rest.
I mostly enjoyed my group the most. They help me way more then other groups did in elementary school and i get along with them. Unlike other groups i had in elementary, i didn't get along with them which made it even more hard to work because all they would do it fool around and would never do their work.

Mathletics

Mathletics is a good help with math because if you get something wrong. It shows you what you did wrong and it fixes it. It also helps me add, subtract , multiply and divide way faster. I used to suck at doing them fast but now im way better which is really good. It also helped me because you can pick more challenging things and usually some apps are way to easy.

2 things that i like about this app is how challenging it is and you get to face people all over the world. Its better then always facing people in your class..

And one way i would improve this app is that i would add way more categories. Some you have to download and it takes along time.. So i would make it download it way faster because when we are sitting here working, we cant wait along time for it.
Mathletics is a good app and i enjoy using it. Just not for along time.

yes, i agree to this article because everything he says is true. Im defiantly not the neatest writer and i always knew to use pencil in math. This article was only alittle helpful because some stuff i already knew so it didnt really matter. Using pen in math would suck if you made a mistake , i was always taught to use pencil so you can erase it. But this is a really good article to read because it shows you what kids struggle with and how to improve it.

Fractions

We have been learning about fractions for a while now and we use them everyday. For example we need them if your baking because you have to put the right amount of something in and if you put too much it probably wont taste the same. There are fractions all over. To build houses, cut pizza's, and all other things . So its really important that you learn and remember how to do them. Most people use fractions everyday so thats why you should know them.

What i understand about fractions is that you have to use them everyday so when i always complain that i have to do them, i try to remember that they will help me when i get older and so,e jobs i pick will use them. But what i don't understand is that sometimes how you do them. I just forget but once i get shown again. Then i remember easily.

Marks

Our marks are on a website called home logic. Since marks are very important , you should always remember to do your work and try your best to get good marks. The teachers use a item called weighted percent, they use it to "weigh" things heavier than others. Items out of 100 are going to be weighted then something out of 5. Obviously, bigger projects will get way more marks then a little quiz would because the big project would have more marks..because you worked harder on them.

Calculators - Pros & Cons

The pros of a calculator is that

1) they help you with math if you dont know an answer.

2) give you all answers

3) 

But the cons are

1) sometimes i only use calculators and dont even try to do the math myself

2) sometimes dont know remember what multiplys by what

3) i always think i need one.

In elementary school, i was only allowed to use calculators once in awhile whenever he said that we were Allowed. So i dont really rely on them.. They are good when you need them or dont know an answer but other then that i dont need them. 

Math in your life

For example ..
If i worked at Mc.Donalds or a store. Math would affect me because i would need to learn about money and with awesome teachers i of course already know how to count but theres several ways that math could affect me or if i was working at a pizza place , i would probably need to know my fractions because if someone told me to cut it a certain way then i would know how because i would remember fractions.
There are several jobs that include math with it.

Math.. Whats up with that?

What is up with math is that i always struggled through elementary school .
I was probably the worst at math even though i had an amazing teacher. He was amazing at teaching which kind of helped me but in some math things like fractions i suck at. I really want to get better. I also suck at taking tests..it gets me nervous and i cant think very well if i know theres a test ..I wish my mark was higher and im willing to do whatever it takes to get it as high as i possibly can get it. I think learning with videos is easier because you can pause it and with a teacher you cant do that.
